WNC is home to beautiful rugged mountains, rolling foothills, and fertile valleys.  The sights and friendly people of WNC attract thousands of vacationers every year.

Black Mountain

Known as the front porch of Western North Carolina. Black Mountain is cradled by mountains and surrounded by gorgeous views and is located just fifteen minutes east of Asheville. The pace is slower here and you can almost hear the mountain spirit beckoning you to linger. Spend the day, or nestle down for the night in a cozy inn or bed and breakfast.

Cherokee
Located near the southern entrance of Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Blue Ridge Parkway is the Qualla Boundary Cherokee Indian Reservation. The streets of Cherokee are lined with shops selling a large variety of Cherokee crafts.
